Class of 2001 | Inducted 2024
Faith is the daughter of Robert M. and Mable A. Scott. She graduated from Corsicana
High School in 1970. She attended Navarro College from 1999 to 2001. Faith also attended
and graduated from American Automation Technical College (AATC) in Kansas City, Missouri.
Faith began working at Bell Helicopter and worked there for thirteen years. She moved
back to Corsicana and began her career working in law enforcement in Navarro County
with the Sheriff’s Department and the Corsicana Police Department. Faith also served
as Precinct 2 Navarro County Commissioner. She is currently a member of the Navarro
College Board of Trustees. Faith is also involved in the following groups and organizations:
Navarro Crime Stoppers, Compassion Corsicana, NAACP, Navarro Historical Society, Navarro
County Genealogy,
Navarro County Historical Commission, Child Advocacy Board, and she is a Texas Jail
Association Hall of Fame Member.
She is married to Rogers Boyd and they share eight children; Faith would like to acknowledge
her daughters Vernita and Veronica; grandchildren Mandi and her husband Nate; and
great-grandchildren Loriana, Louis, Lenny, and Luka. Faith is a member of the Corsicana
Cowboy Church. Her hobbies include 5D Diamond Painting, cooking,
working crossword puzzles and cross-stitching.
