Listed below are some resources that may make your eBook experience more productive and enjoyable. Resources available to authorized Navarro College users (on or off campus).
NOOKS
Sanchez Library has twelve Nooks available for check-out. These Nooks are single-function devices configured so that only free eBooks can be downloaded to them. (They are not for surfing the web, playing games, watching videos, or listening to music.) You can find free eBooks in the NC Libraries’ EBSCO eBooks collection or through other sources listed below.
Nooks may be checked out for up to three weeks. It is very important that when you return the Nook, you return it to a Sanchez Library employee at the Circulation Desk. Please do not place it in the drop box or leave it on the counter unattended. The replacement fee for a lost or damaged Nook is $99, and the replacement fee for a lost or damaged charging cord is $25. A $1 fee will be charged for each day the Nook is overdue ($10 maximum).
Both the Nook Quick Start Guide and Nook User Guide are located in each Nook’s library. In addition, the online tutorials below can help you use this device.
