Testing Center Policies and Procedures
IDENTIFICATION
Testing at all Navarro College Testing Centers requires a photo ID. Such ID may include government-issued photo identification (driver’s license, state or military ID card, visa, passport, etc.), school-issued photo identification cards, employer-issued photo identification cards, membership photo identification cards, etc. Please be aware that some tests can have special identification requirements.
PERSONAL ITEMS
Some items are not allowed in testing centers and cannot be stored by test center personnel. These items include, but are not limited to, the following: cell phones, calculators, all other electronic devices, backpacks, books, food, drinks or tobacco products. Lockers are available at our testing locations; however, all personal items must be able to fit in the locker, or other arrangements will need to be made prior to testing.
ACCESSIBILITY & ACCOMMODATIONS
If you feel that you may need special accommodations for testing, please visit with the Office of Accessibiity & Accommodations Coordinator in Navarro College’s Bulldog Life Office, located in the Navarro College-Corsicana Library. Visit the Accessibility and Accommodations website for more information about our accommodation services.
ACADEMIC DISHONESTY
The college expects all students to do their own schoolwork at all times. Any student guilty of dishonesty in academic work is subject to disciplinary action. College officials may begin such action if a student is accused of “cheating on academic work.” Disciplinary actions may include a cancellation of test scores and having Testing Center privileges revoked.
As a courtesy to all, children are not allowed in our Testing Centers and Testing Center personnel are unable to watch children. Please make appropriate child care arrangements prior to arriving at the Testing Center.
PLEASE NOTE
All test fees are non-refundable.
