Associate Degree Nursing Program Admission Requirements

Traditional ADN applicants must meet all general program admission requirements including attendance at a program Information Session. Applications are due in February. Traditional applications have two (2) pre-requisite courses:

      Pre-Requisite Courses Required:

      COURSE NUMBER
      COURSE TITLE
      BIOL 2401
      Anatomy & Physiology (A&P I)
      BIOL 2402
      Anatomy & Physiology (A&P II)

All pre-requisite courses must be completed within 7 years of making application. Applications sent without the required pre-requisite will not be accepted. Any of the other Non-RNSG degree plan courses on the degree plan can be taken prior to entering the program or after admission.

NOTICE FOR 2022 ADMISSION TO RN PROGRAM
Students who completed BIOL 2401 and/or BIOL 2402 prior to Spring 2015 and achieved a C or better in the course(s), will have the option to complete BIOL 2404 (must achieve a C or better) to take the place of the expired course(s).

ADN Degree Plans will be initiated upon admission to the ADN Program and will be changed if the student drops from the program. New students will be registered for the appropriate RNSG classes by ADN faculty. New students should register themselves for other required classes and, of course, select the schedule the student prefers. A calendar that details the RNSG course lecture, lab, and clinical schedules will be available to students prior to the start of the semester.

A few things to know if you are interested in applying for 2022 admission to the ADN program:

TEAS Exam: If you are interested in admission for 2022, you may take the TEAS exam twice between March 1, 2020 and the application deadline for 2022 admissions.

The ADN Program will only accept Anatomy and Physiology I & II completed with seven (7) years prior to the application deadline.

      2022 ADMISSION TO ADN PROGRAM
For 2022 admissions, all prerequisite courses must be completed by the end of the fall 2021 semester.
